Patrick MontesDeOca is a producer, writer, and actor.
Patrick discovered and developed the story that was the basis for the Hulu series, Welcome to Chippendales (2022). He co-wrote the book, Deadly Dance: The Chippendales Murders (2014), which inspired the series. He also discovered, developed and sold the story that became the motion picture, Rudy (1993).
Patrick has been a member of the Screen Actors Guild since 1972. As Patrick Montes, he appeared in The Shield (2004), Walker, Texas Ranger (2001), Melrose Place (1994), Silk Stockings (1993), and Dead Again (1991).
As a financial writer, coach and trading system developer, he co-authored Mean Reversion Trading (2014) and for more than a decade has been a regular contributor to the Associated Press, Seeking Alpha and Investing.com. He developed the Variable Price Momentum Indicator (VCPMI.com) trading system, and is the founder and CEO of the Equity Management Academy (ema2trade.com).
Patrick is CEO of the Mucosal Melanoma Warriors Foundation, and is active in supporting groups and individuals battling cancer, especially rare forms of Mucosal Melanoma.
