An important part of our Mucosal Melanoma Warrior family are the angels who battled this rare cancer with grace and dignity to the end. They leave a legacy that inspires everyone who follows them.
The MMW foundation is dedicated to Nicola MontesDeOca who lost her battle with Anorectal Mucosal Melanoma in 2022. Her positive attitude and sense of humor was enjoyed by so many warriors on our weekly Zoom calls.
In spite of her challenges, she looked for ways to encourage other warriors on their journeys.

We will forever treasure the gifts that our Warrior Angels have given to our community and remember that NO ONE FIGHTS ALONE!
